Free Floating or Station Based?
Elettra carsharing is the first provider that combines both operational systems so that you get both the flexibility of free-flow rental on demand and the tranquility of advance booking.
Station Based
The Station-Based system allows you to book the car in advance, up to 15 minutes before you need it and collect it directly by going to the selected Elettra stall. It is the best solution for medium and long trips. Afterwards you will have to return it to the pick up location.
Free Floating
Free Floating system vehicles are perfect for getting around the city, they do not need to be booked in advance and can be collected on demand and returned to any designated area in the center of Genoa. Just go to the car and unlock it using the QR Code.
You can also reserve it for a few minutes, just long enough to reach the vehicle and activate the service.
